Congratulations to the Heyford CC T20 XI, captained by Martyn Cory, who made it through to the final of the NCL Hevey Building Supplies T20 Cup yesterday.
After a convincing win over Wellingborough OGs in the semi-final Heyford were up against Overstone Park in the final, who are currently second in Division 1.
Thanks to a late charge from James Baldwin Heyford managed to set Overstone a respectable target of 134, which they successfully chased down in the 17th over.
Congratulations to everyone who played a part in this seasons ‘T20 campaign’. It has been a real club effort with 1st and 2nd XI players involved throughout.
Finally, thank you to everyone from Heyford who made the journey to Wellingborough to support the team. We were by far the best supported team there, we hope we did you proud!
