Heyford CC has been very well managed by the previous and current committees. Financially the club is in a safe place, but due to the COVID-19 crisis, we have lost the following income:
1. Golf Day cancelled (£2,500+)
2. Fun Day cancelled (£750+)
3. Annual Subs waived (£1,000+)
4. Lost Match Fees (£2,000+)
5. Scratch-cards, Social Events, Bar Takings Percentage all lost (£500+)
6. Handbook advertisements waived (£250+)
As a result, and with the loss of over £5,000 potential profit, we have already had to shelve the plans for a new roller this season and other capital expenditures will be delayed or potentially pulled completely.
The Committee have decided to launch a Crowdfunder to offset these losses.
We appreciate players, patrons and sponsors may have suffered financially as a result of COVID-19, so we’ve made waived a number of things like Handbook adverts and annual subs. Of course it’s all totally optional, you can voluntarily choose to contribute any value you wish – all donations will be massively appreciated.
