Following the recent Government update cricket returns to Nether Heyford today with an exciting inter-club ‘friendly’ from 12:30pm!

The committee have made some simple changes to keep players, officials and spectators as safe as possible, in line with Government and ECB guidance.

We are required to keep a record of visitors for track and trace. A registration form is available near the score hut and at the entrance to the clubhouse.

A one-way system has been introduced to help with social distancing in the clubhouse. Please enter the clubhouse via the side doors near the tennis courts, and exit via the bar doors or the toilet doors. The clubhouse will be open for toilet use only.

This week we will be installing some additional benches around the outfield to help spectators to social distance while watching the cricket. In the meantime, plastic chairs will be available and sterilising wipes are available for you to clean the chair before use.

The bar will not be open this week. Players will be providing their own teas and drinks, so the kitchen will not be open for tea and coffee. Please bring your own refreshments.

Please follow the Government guidance on social distancing at all times.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the playing fields, and thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.

Please do not hesitate to contact a member of the committee if you have any queries or concerns.
