As we welcome back Cricket, we are delighted to confirm that thanks to the expert leadership from Matt and the Committee, we are in a sound position both as a club and financially, despite the challenges of 2020.
The club has decided to help out players by waiving Annual Subs for this season, and have also chosen not charge our sponsors for inclusion in the handbook etc.
Combining this with the lost income from cancelled events such as the Golf Day, the club may lose as much as £5,000 in profit across 2020. This is money that would normally be diverted to capital expenditures such as Pitch and Grounds equipment – for example, the big investment of a new Heavy Roller has been put on hold.
We’ve created a Crowdfunder to allow players, supporters and friends to donate to the club to help us continue to invest our facilities.
