The return of cricket to Heyford CC - information for spectators (UPDATED 15/7/2020)

Following our inter-club friendly last week we have reviewed and updated our information for spectators leaflet. Please see below and attached to this email…

Following the recent Government update cricket we are delighted to welcome you back to Heyford CC!

The committee have made some simple changes to keep players, officials and spectators as safe as possible, in line with Government and ECB guidance.

We are required to keep a record of visitors for track and trace. Registration forms are available near the score hut and at the side entrance to the clubhouse.

A one-way system has been introduced to help with social distancing in the clubhouse. Please enter the clubhouse via the side doors near the tennis courts, and exit via the bar doors or the toilet doors. The clubhouse will be open for toilet use only. In the event of rain please shelter in your car or with an umbrella.

Some additional permanent benches have been installed around the outfield to help spectators to social distance while watching the cricket. A small number of plastic chairs will be provided, and sterilising wipes will be available on the registration table for you to clean your chair before use. If you can bring your own chair to further reduce the risk that would be much appreciated.

The bar is not currently open. Players will be providing their own teas and drinks, so the kitchen will not be open for tea and coffee. Please bring your own refreshments.

Please follow the Government guidance on social distancing at all times.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the playing fields, and thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.
